We are four Christian wives who want to encourage other Christian wives to enjoy God’s gift of sex in all of its awesomeness by presenting a biblical view, practical tips, and engaging discussion about godly sexual intimacy.
Bonny Burns @oysterbed7
Bonny’s an upbeat Christian who writes for the low sex-drive wife at OysterBed7. She blends scripture, science, and musings from her own journey to show that low sex-drive is not a permanent condition. She is the author of, Unlock Your Libido: 52-week Sex Drive Transformation.
Bonny, and her husband, Dave, are candid about their struggles and victories. Married over 30 years, they have three sons, two daughter-in-loves, and one grandblessing. Bonny is currently taking classes working toward her master’s degree in family and marriage therapy.
Gaye Christmus @calmhealthysexy
Gaye is a wife and mom to two almost-grown sons. She works as a technical writer in a health field and blogs at CalmHealthySexy. Her passion is encouraging married women to slow down, live with vitality and energy, and create joy and intimacy in their marriages. She believes that small steps can lead to big changes, and that women armed with knowledge and a plan can transform their hurried, hectic lives.
Gaye and her husband, Dan, have been married for 31 years. She’s learned a lot over the years – and made more than her fair share of mistakes. Her goal in writing (and now podcasting) is to share insights and information with other married women that will (hopefully) make their learning curve a little shorter and easier.
J. Parker @hotholyhumorous
J. is Christian author and speaker who blogs at Hot, Holy & Humorous and uses a biblical perspective and a blunt sense of humor to foster godly sexuality. She has penned three books on sexual intimacy in marriage, includingHot, Holy, and Humorous: Sex in Marriage by God’s Design,
Married for 24 years, J. has fondly nicknamed her logical husband “Spock,” has two teenage sons, and lives in the great state of Texas. She holds a master’s degree in counseling, yet it’s her personal story of redemption that fuels her passion for passion.
Chris Taylor @forgivenwife
Chris Taylor writes at The Forgiven Wife to encourage Christian women who want to work on the sexual intimacy in their marriages. After many years of a sexually difficult marriage, she and her husband Doug (aka Big Guy) have reclaimed the passion and intimacy God had intended for them all along.
Chris also coaches bloggers and writers professionally at Life Spring Writing.
Chris and Doug live in southeastern Wisconsin. They enjoy having a nearly-empty nest as their three kids begin their adult lives.
