From the Bible

The Bible doesn’t say much directly about the value of exercise, but it alludes to the importance of caring for our bodies and keeping them strong.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20New International Version (NIV) –  Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Proverbs 31:17 (NIV) – She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.
